Rahul Gandhi: Without education there can be no development

Indian National Congress has been strong support for spread of education from the very beginning. Congress leaders at the very outset realized that education was the core component for ushering in development in the country and elevating economic poverty of the people. Accordingly network of schools was laid all over the country. Recently Congress leader visited Indira Gandhi Training Institute at Jagdishpur in his constituency in Amethi and said, “Without education there can be no development.” While holding interactive session with the students of that institute Rahul Gandhi said, “It is important to raise the level of education in Amethi.” He further said, “Setting up of institutes of higher learning like IIT will transform the place into an education hub.” Underlying message of the Congress leader is that by establishing institutes of higher learning here pace of development and economic level of the local people will get a definite boost because education and economic development always go together.
