Addressing Congress workers’ rally at Kant in Uttar Pradesh on the last day of his second phase campaign All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said that there is only one elephant in the entire world that feeds on money and that is in Lucknow. He also asserted that UP will develop as well but for that the state needs a government of aam aadmi. Only Congress can deliver such a government. Rahul Gandhi promised that a Congress government will guide the state to the top position again.
Referring the Rs 3,000 crore NRHM scam reported in the state the Congress General Secretary said, “Mayawati’s minister even looted the funds sent by the Ministry of Health. Now he has been knocking at the doors of CBI to save himself.”
