Blaming Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav for being insensitive to the issues of the people, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said these leaders have all along ignored the problems of the people. “I have very well understood one thing that there is no question in the entire country for which the people of the country don't have an answer," Rahul Gandhi said adding "The poor, the farmers and the labourers have an answer to every question." Referring to the changes made by the central government for the implementation of Rs 600 crore package for the weavers, Rahul Gandhi said, “Weavers only told us that the package should not be implemented through co-operative societies controlled by state government otherwise they would not get a single rupee if the societies were involved in implementing the package." “I would continue to strive for a better understanding of public problems by mingling with them rather than by sitting in office,” he added.
