People look towards Congress for progress in UP: Rahul Gandhi

Listing out the bitter experience which the people of UP have witnessed during the non-Congress rule of BSP, SP and BJP, in the last two decades, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has claimed that the people have now realized that that Congress (I) is the only reliable alternative in Uttar Pradesh for a better living conditions and development. The people have now understood that they have been betrayed by BJP, BSP and SP, said the Congress leader. Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress (I) is ready to provide “only alternative” to the people and to restore good governance in the state.  Rahul Gandhi also explained the good record of performance by the Congress (I) since independence. It was Congress (I) which brought UP to the top of development. Uttar Pradesh was then showing the path to other states.  But everything changed when caste and religion based politics of SP and BSP dominated in the state said the Congress General Secretary. People are now regretting having trusted SP and BSP over so long, added Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi said that a government aam aadmi by Congress will be responsive to the needs of the people and put the state back on path of development.
