The Congress is under a lot of controversies and is under severe attack from all corners and especially after the reported statements of Union Minister Salman Khurshid. But it is a fact that the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre did make a lot of welfare schemes for the poor and underprivileged and the Congress should make sure that the good things dome by its government should reach the people. Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has been doing this work very dutifully. He has been intelligently highlighting various Government schemes implemented by the Centre for the welfare of the people. He has been silently continuing his mission to bring back Congress to the centre stage, especially in U.P and also creating ripples in the opposite camp.

There may be questions regarding his ideas, maturity or his political experiences, his efforts to connect with the common people and his vision for development should be appreciated as today the leaders are accused of moving away from masses.
A leader is the one who guides others towards a common goal, showing the way by example, and creating an environment in which the society as a whole feel actively involved in the process of development.
