Uttar Pradesh – Examination scam in Maya govt: Congress (I)

Congress (I) has blamed Mayawati government for playing with the career of the students of Uttar Pradesh by indulging in examination scam. Competitive examinations are held for Basic Training Course (BTC) and B.Ed courses. Examination fee for BTC is Rs 300 while for B.Ed it is Rs 400. Students do hard preparation for the examination with a hope to pass the examination and securing a job on the basis of the examination passed. During the last examination 80 thousands students applied for BTC examination while for B.Ed examination 19 lakhs students applied and paid the required fee for the examination. But just few days before the examination, it was declared that the examination had been postponed indefinitely, said Congress (I). Students are asking what happened to the money paid by them for the examination. This is how Mayawati government is indulging in scams involving of crores of rupees, said Congress (I).
