Mayawati must account for her misdeeds: Congress (I)

Hitting hard against UP Chief Minister for bad governance and corruption in the state, Congress (I) has said time has come for Mayawati to account for her omissions and commissions during the last five years to the people of Uttar Pradesh. Trusting that she will work for dalits, poor, and sarv samaj, her term for common man, people gave her party absolute majority. But once in power Mayawati forgot the people, said Congress (I). Mayawati’s greed for money led to non-transparency in administrative actions. For the same reason she favored real estates companies at the cost of farmers whose lands she forcibly acquired and handed over to private builders. Congress (I) said instead of encouraging industrial growth in the state which could provide badly needed employment opportunities to people, Mayawati’s policies created conditions that forced industries to close down. It their place a new industry called corruption came up and Mayawati government became a trading company for striking business deals. Congress (I) has said now Mayawati must account for her misdeeds.
